| The Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA)
is the peak industry body in Australia for the Owners, Managers and
Operators of Marinas, Slipways, Boatyards, Berthing, Mooring and other
marine Storage Facilities and Sailing and Cruising Boating Clubs.
MIAA Members enjoy direct, national and global connections with both industry and Government organisations.
Members of the MIAA are located in each state of
Australia and they find benefit from the range of services offered
through the network and from the Secretariat, which is located in
Sydney.
The MIAA is a different organisation from any other
because it is entirely about marina matters; it concentrates,
absolutely, on issues to do with day-to-day marina business and
planning for the future.
By maintaining your membership (or by taking up
membership) in this not for profit Association and its focussed group
of professionals, you'll get advice and tips on issues such as
governance, the environment, training, risk management, emergency
procedures and optimising the management of your resources.
It is an easy way to gain an "insider's edge" and advance the profession of Marina Management.
The MIAA Magazine is the official periodical of the MIAA. It
is published quarterly and it endeavours to keep
readers well informed and up-to-date with the issues arising within the
marine industry and within the Marina Industries Association.
The MIAA annual conferences offer advice and alternative
points of view from industry experts with decades of Australian and
overseas experience.
