What is the Clean Marina Programme?

About Clean Marinas Australia

The Clean Marinas Australia Programme is a national, voluntary accreditation system for marinas, yacht clubs, boat clubs, slips, boatyards and associated industry operators across Australia. The Clean Marinas-Australia Programme has been developed to support Australia's marine industries in its endeavours to protect our coastal and inland waterways.  The Programme not only provides an easy-to-follow system to develop valuable environmental practices, but also rewards marina operators with real business benefits.

Who should be a Clean Marina?

If you operate a marina, yacht club or other boat club, boat repair facility such as a slipway or travel lift yard, or if you are involved in any associated industry, you should get involved in the Clean Marinas-Australia Programme. Whether your business has a rich heritage and history in boating, or whether your site is newly modernized, whether you provide world-class boat storage, repair super yachts or small timber vessels, you have an opportunity to become part of a programme that is dedicated to improving the environment while boosting the reputation and profile of your business.
