MARINE HOST COURSES - MARCH 2010 PERTH AND SYDNEY

‘Marine Host' was successfully conducted for the first time in Australia at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay NSW in August 2009. Nine marine industry personnel participated in the course. They rated the course very highly in terms of providing new skills and insights that will enable them to anticipate and improve their service to customers.

Two Marine Host one day courses are scheduled to be held in March in 2010, they are:

  • Marine Host, Perth on the 8th March, at the Royal Perth Yacht Club
  • Marine Host, Sydney on the 17th March at the MIAA Offices in Crows Nest

The Marine Host Customer Service course will inspire and remind everyone the importance of providing excellent customer service.  It gives valuable advice, hot tips and reminders on

  • How to recognise a customer's preferred communication style
  • Building rapport and relationships
  • Why customers become dissatisfied
  • Dealing with difficult customers
  • Understanding personality types
  • Increasing your professional pride
  • Measuring customer satisfaction and
  • Measuring continuous improvements

Aimed at employees at all levels, this one day course includes group discussions, role play and activities. 

The development of Marine Host has been carefully scrutinised by the Marina Industries Association of Australia Education Committee. The Committee has ensured the program specifically addresses the needs of the marine industry and that it is linked to bottom line improvement of participating businesses.
