Tasmanian Government Releases Draft Maritime Industries Master Plan

The Tasmanian Government has released the Draft Maritime Industries Master Plan, Derwent Maritime Industrial Sites. The vision for the Master Plan is for a vital and innovative network of marine industries in Southern Tasmania which is mutually supporting, strategically and structurally integrated, and capitalises upon geographical advantages.

The Derwent maritime cluster is located in the northern suburbs of Hobart and is home to internationally competitive businesses such as Incat. The Department of Economic Development in Tasmania are seeking feedback on the Plan including the proposed actions and directions.
