CMO's have a least 3 years Marina Manager experience managing a small marina facility (under 100 vessels).
The internationally recognised Certified Marina Operator (CMO) designation is the assurance that your future can be both financially and professionally rewarding and distinguishes you as an outstanding marina professional.
The Global Marina Institute (GMI) an educational partnership between the British Marine Federation (BMF) and Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA), offer the CMO program in Australia, UK and Europe.

CMOs are expected to continuously improve and are expected to annually submit a record of their Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
