Intermediate Marina Management (Australia)

Course Information

This 4.5 day long Intermediate Marina Management course is offered by the MIA in partnership with the Global Marina Institute. This popular program is aimed at people in the marina industry such as marina operators, manufacturers, contractors, consultants and service providers. The program focuses on operations, policies and procedures in the marina industry and exposes students to innovative ways of dealing with issues and challenges. It is also an essential course in a career path leading to the Certified Marina Manager, Certified Marina Operator and Certified Marina Professional Certification, a globally recognised qualification.

Scholarship - for Gold Coast Course 2013

The Superior Scholarship offered by Superior is open to anyone who is interested in attending the course and who is a member of the MIA (membership can be either through your marina or as an individual). The scholarship covers all costs (travel excluded) of attending the course.

Prerequisites and Career Pathway

At least one full year working either as a marina manager or in a marina leadership position, performing day-to-day onsite work in a marina of 50 or more berths.

Course Fees

MIA Members: AUD $3250 per person

Non-MIA Members: AUD $3950 per person

Fees include: 4 nights accommodation, course folder, learning materials, resources and presentation, breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, welcome drinks, 1 x evening dinner, and marina tour.

This is a residential course. There is no non-residential option.
